05:45 pm - The obstacles of my life AKA dreadful nasty business.

So...OLIVIO SPRAY BUTTER.

I have to get some more soon because I ran out today. That means I have to go all the way to Gristedes to get it. But I like it so much that I'm willing to do that.

I wrote some song lyrics today about a woman with "Battered Wife Syndrome" who gets her husband jailed. It's a country song.

Well, I'm going to go make food now.

11:42 pm - SCARY.

So livejournal.com saves your posts now in this box which I'm typing? I like to think that what I type here and decide not to actually update goes away forever and I'll never have to see it again.

WEEKENDS ARE DEVILS. When youu don't have a job and it's hot and you're poor. Otherwise they are slightly tolerable half-demons. I have Flesh For Frankenstein here but am no compelled in the least to watch it in this air which heightens my laziness for living.

WHAT? I think the Jacques Brel CD I bought a few months ago has a scratch in it. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT FOR BEING HONEST AND BUYING MUSIC FOR ONCE? Sheesh. I can't afford imperfections like these.

Looks like I'll be taking our old landlord to court over the security deposit.....What a fun summer, let me tell ya! I could just kick something. I do so to my feelings and ideas all the time.

GOD, if this was "back in the day" I could walk down to Ebbets Field and catch a ballgame at least. But in our present day housing projects now stand where the ballpark was. I think I'll pass on that one...

Laundry tomorrow then...

Allow your brain to imagine it's something exciting. I assure you it's not. I assure you, it's frightfully average and boring and HUMAN. These are words and realities I fear.

12:45 am - Who doesn't hate turning round?

I have to get back to hating Shaw. Not that I ever stopped hating him. But I must regain my active hatred for him because I miss being that determined and motivated to NOT be like someone. SHUCKS...I need all of my books here. I used to call barricades "IDIOTS" when I was a kid. It's a story I prefer to tell in person.

I was there to steal her money, take her rings and run
Then I fell in love with the lady, got away with none.

This is a very shadowyfigure entry...I do't know what to say! The day shadowyfigure and sandimyth are the same person will be a good day! Amazing how two so disturbingly similar shouldn't get along...that's "a whole nother" sermon, though...

I guess I'm too much like Shaw sometimes. I swear he haunts me. That time those guys BUSTED out of the Irish pub into the street in a brawl BARELY mising me as I walked by...there was a photo of Shaw hangning behind the bar, I was later informed. Coincidence? I think not.

But I must be of to what was "a place of luxury" to Napoleon and is to me a giant Petri dish of unending surreality and wasted time.......I mean BED. Because I'm having stiches removed tomorrow and I need to be there in the MORN. Egads...

01:39 pm - No.

I usuall understand people's nosy compulsions. But this is were I draw the line:

THAT IS JUST SAD...there are other ways to investigate people. That don't include ROTTING FLITH.

But I will go through a stranger's trash if they've tossed out something pefectly fine which I could use (viz. clothes, books, kitchen utensils...) IT'S RECYCLING! I'm proud of my garbage finds.

04:09 pm - True wit.

Overheard in NY has gotten better in the past few years. This is just great and so I must share:

Guy #1: What's a clamato? Isn't that a type of tomato? Tastes like a tomato.
Guy #2: It's a clam and a tomato.
Guy #1: No... Really?
Guy #3: Yeah. It's a combination of two words... you know, like dumbass!

12:46 am - Do you wish people listened?

I love this song by Katie Melua called "Faraway Voice":

Ooh, faraway voice,
We can hear you voice,
What's it like to be heard?
But from you not a word,

Are you over those hills?
Do you still hum old melodies?
Do you wish people listened?
Over here with me,

Ooh, faraway voice,
What I would give
To hear that voice,
What's it like to breathe?
My ears decieve me, voice.

And I will walk with you
On a summers day,
And I will talk to you,
Though you're far away,
And we'll sing through the years.

Are you over those hills?
Do you still hum old melodies?
Do you wish people listened?
Over here with me,
Over here with me
Over here with me
